Recycling and salvage aren't a side operation at G&R — they're built into how every project runs. Concrete from a teardown gets crushed at our yard and turned into recycled aggregate. Doors, windows, fixtures, and lumber with second-life value get routed to Bits N Pieces instead of a landfill. Scrap metal gets recovered through our metal-purchasing operation. Tires and batteries find new homes at our junkyard. Less waste, less landfill, more value.
This started in 1985 as common sense — don't throw away what's worth something — and it's been a core operating principle ever since. For commercial projects that need project documentation, we provide it. For homeowners, it's just the way the work gets done. Either way, the materials don't end up where they don't belong.

Concrete from our demolition projects gets crushed at our yard and sold as 4″ minus recycled aggregate. From your old foundation to someone's new driveway base.
Building Material Salvage
Doors, windows, fixtures, lumber, appliances, hardware — anything from a demolition with second-life value gets routed to G&R Bits N Pieces instead of a landfill.
Scrap Metal Recovery
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals from demolition projects, public purchases, and scrap-car buyouts — all recovered and recycled through our metal purchasing operation.
Antiques & Unique Items
Bits N Pieces also runs a unique antiques operation — items with character, history, and value that deserve a second life rather than the bottom of a dumpster.

Used tires and batteries are resold at our 211 Darby Lane junkyard — keeping these items out of the waste stream and giving customers an affordable replacement option.
